Alelyk is derived from the word allele, while Neroka likely comes from the Malay word meneroka, which means explore.

Personality and Traits

Alelyk is loud and sometimes randomly spout shit about the nerdy shit she reads from the books. While she can be quick to get angry, she is just as quick to forget and move on. She may come across as the chill and lazy type, but she is capable of getting things done when she sets her mind to it. She tends to fight over minor things. She can be stubborn and set in her ways, but she is also open-minded and always willing to listen to other people's perspectives and opinions. She is also a calm and easygoing and prefers to live in harmony and avoid conflict. However, people occasionally come up to her and fight with her, which causes her to become frustrated and angry. Despite her tendencies to avoid conflict and seek peace, she is also strong-willed and capable of standing up for herself and her beliefs when necessary. Despite her intelligence, she can sometimes be seen as dumb," and she claims herself to be "smart and also dumb; I am flexible." She is curious but is prone to procrastination and disorganization. She is good with technology and IT and is regarded as an IT nerd among her friends. She has been called weird and annoying by some of her friends, but ignores them and continues to be herself.

Alelyk's lusus is a bear; she affectionately refers to her lusus as "Mama Bear," and the two get along well.As a sign of love and affection, Mama Bear frequently nuzzles her head against Alelyk's. Her lusus is frequently seen roaming the island. She enjoys lying on her lusus' soft fur, sometimes climbing onto her lusus' back and giving her rides. Alelyk treasures their relationship because it provides her with constant comfort. She managed to bring her lusus to the Earth C so her lusus would not be left on the island.

Momerk Moroon

Momerk and Alelyk are childhood pals who have known each other since they were grubs. Despite the fact that they were out of contact for a while, their friendship has endured, with Momerk deciding to live near Alelyk's village. Though they may argue at times, their tolerance and respect for each other are clear to see, making them a bonded duo who can always rely on one another.

Hemete Kasaow

The bond between Alelyk and Hemete develops from friendship to romance.
Before Part 1:
Alelyk first met Hemete when they were both 11, while she was playing "Avoiddush" (equivalent to dodgeball) with her friends at Hatcheast's park. Soon after, she encountered him at the bakery where she was buying bread, and secretly bought him a piece of cake to thank him for helping out her friend. Initially, he refused, but Alelyk persuaded him to accept the cake and leave the bakery immediately when she realized she had forgotten about the train's schedule. Ever since that encounter, Alelyk began seeing Hemete more often, and they developed a friendship. A year later, Alelyk asked Hemete to join her team, which he accepted. They continued to be teammates until they both quit the game. Three years later, they met again at an educational institution, where they were in the same class for the first year before they were separated into different classes. Six months before the events of the story began, Alelyk approached Hemete to join Beuryl's team. At first, he declined, but after some convincing from Alelyk, he later changed his mind and accepted the invitation.

Part 1:
Alelyk and Hemete have a strong friendship that has developed over the past few years. They also enjoy hanging out together after class, and Alelyk often relies on Hemete to piggyback her because of her laziness to walk. Besides that, they work together as a team in the game they play. However, Alelyk does feel a bit uneasy with Hemete, as he can be quite clingy towards her. She doesn't approve of all his plans, and sometimes feels overwhelmed by his affection.

Before Part 1.5:
Alelyk and Hemete had a major disagreement that strained their friendship. The conflict arose when Hemete expressed concerns about Alelyk pursuing her dream of studying on Earth C. This resulted in an argument, and their friendship became strained for a time. They were able to work through their differences and forgive each other. Despite their reconciliation, Alelyk was soon unable to contact Hemete due to his decision to end their friendship without her knowledge. Alelyk was hurt and upset because their friendship meant a lot to her.

5 years before Part 2:
Alelyk and Hemete were reunited after 7 years, at a museum where Hemete was on a school trip with his students and Alelyk was in charge of touring the visitors. Despite their turbulent past, Alelyk was overjoyed to see Hemete again. She couldn't help but be disappointed in how her long-time friend had handled their friendship. Alelyk asked Hemete why he hadn't told her he was on Earth, and when Hemete refused to answer, Alelyk gave him her phone number.Alelyk found herself drawn to Hemete as they spent more time together, and her feelings for him grew stronger. She finally gathered the courage to confess to him, but instead of telling him the truth about her feelings, Alelyk lied and claimed that she had liked him for a long time but didn't think their relationship could work because of their differences. Alelyk's confession surprised Hemete, but he soon realized that he felt the same way and proposed to Alelyk. Alelyk was overjoyed and accepted his proposal, and the two married at the end of the fall season.
